Security Overview Statement
We understand that many organizations will have concerns regarding data security. The Orca Eyes IT Security Team has worked diligently to make the product safe and secure at every turn.
Here is some basic information about the On Demand product that will be relevant to you and your IT staff regarding security.
You will never provide personal information on employees. Employee IDs, Social Security Numbers, and employee name are never used during the process. The system does not deal with individual employees, but rather calculates risk based off of departments and jobs.
The data upload is secure and encrypted. SonarVision On Demand runs through HTTPS, as opposed to standard HTTP (the "S" indicates "Secure"). In your browser's address bar, you can verify this in two ways. The "https" in front of the SonarVisionOD.com domain indicates that you are accessing the page through secure HTTPS (an unsecure web address uses http://). The gold lock ( ) is an indicator that the OrcaEyes secure connection certificate is valid, authorized and trusted.
Once your report is generated, all employee data is removed from the server. Only your calculated metric scores are kept on the server after processing. We do not keep employee data on record past 24 hours.
